Charitable Efforts

Arcadia Brewing Company has always been about commitment; to creating quality beers, to building relationships with customers, and to supporting our communities. Currently, Arcadia actively focuses donation efforts internally and locally, hosting a multitude of monthly fundraisers as well as charitable functions throughout the year. Such efforts have included monthly Drink One Down For Your Town and Celebrity Guest Bartender fundraising events, donation of 1% of all Cheap Datesales to the Kalamazoo Parks Foundation on behalf of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, the annual Arcadia Ales Classic which raised funds for scholarships to the Sustainable Brewing Programs at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College… the list goes on!

DRINK ONE DOWN FOR YOUR TOWN

Drink One Down for Your Town fundraisers bring a day full of advocacy, education, and appreciation to local nonprofit organizations, groups, and purposes. The fundraiser is held the first Monday of every month. Participating parties bring brochures, fliers, posters, and set up a table in the tavern to raise awareness about their mission and interact with Arcadia customers, especially during Happy Hour! At the end of the day, Arcadia Brewing Company tallies the days tap sales (beer only, wine and cider excluded) and makes a 50% matching donation that is remitted to the participating group. Interested? Submit an application today! Drink One Down beneficiaries are selected at the end of each year and scheduled out for the following cycle.

Celebrity Guest Bartenders

Celebrity Guest Bartender events allow organizations to interact with our customers and chat over the joy of our cold brews, all the while raising funds for a deserving cause or institution. One or two representatives from the participating organization learn to be a bartender for the evening! A tip jar is centered on our front tavern bar with the organization's logo and cause displayed. All tips collected are the "Bartender's" to keep at the end of the event and donate to their cause.  Interested? Contact our Event Coordinator at events@arcadiaales.com!
