1/ Cuvee S.M Xavier Vignon

It is produced from Grenache and Syrah grapes. Light and fruity, it reveals aromas of black fruits and plums with liquorice notes. On the palate, it is full and complex with powerful but rounded tannins. Robert Parker and Jeb Dunnuck gave it a very good score of 94/100, which is quite rare for a wine of this appellation.

2/ Jeff Carrel Les Darons Languedoc 2017

Made from Grenache (60%), Carignan (25%), and Syrah (15%) grapes, this Languedoc-Roussillon, signed Jeff Carrel, is excellent value for money. It is an ideal choice if you want to share a good wine with friends or family, around a meal or a barbecue in summer, for an affordable price. Fruity, powerful and very balanced, it goes well with different types of dishes.

3/ Château La Lagune 2014

Château La Lagune 2014 is a Bordeaux (60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit-Verdot) from the wine estate of the eponymous castle. This area extends over 80 ha, in Ludon-Médoc in Gironde. It is classified 3rd Grand Cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. It is a wine which is very appreciated by consumers, for its powerful aromatic bouquet which goes well with red meats, poultry, game and cheese. You can also accompany this wine with cannelloni with porcini mushrooms, for example.

4/ E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône

This Maison Guigal is made from Syrah (60%), Grenache (35%) and Mourvèdre (5%). On the nose, it offers aromas of black fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, it is full with rounded tannins. It goes particularly well with cold cuts, game, barbecue or cheese. Its nose of black fruits, associated with its pretty spicy notes of garrigue, makes it a real wine of pleasure and finesse which can be tasted directly after purchase or be kept until 2026.

5/ Les Hauts de Smith

This Bordeaux Pessac-Léognan AOC (55% Merlot, 45% Cabernet-sauvignon) is a complex, tannic and racy red. It goes very well with red or white meats, poultry, game, mushrooms, and cheese. On the nose, it is expressed on notes of red fruits, sweet spices, and vanilla. On the palate, it offers flavors of fresh red fruit, spices (cloves, licorice) and empyreumatic notes (smoke, cinnamon). It can be kept until 2030.
